At BNL School Pictures, we create timeless portraits for families from Kindergarten through 12th grade. We are looking for a Photography Supervisor & Account Manager to play a dual role in leading a team of photographers while also managing client relationships and driving new sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Photography Leadership & Team Management

  • Supervise and develop a team of photographers, providing coaching, training, and ongoing support.
  • Conduct field visits to observe, mentor, and enhance photographers’ performance.
  • Set clear expectations and provide performance feedback through regular check-ins and reviews.
  • Lead team meetings and foster a positive, high-performance culture.
  • Oversee labor spending and productivity to align with company goals.
  • Ensure high-quality customer service by training photographers to provide an excellent experience for schools and families.
  • Manage and maintain photography equipment, overseeing distribution, collection, and inventory.
  • Schedule photographers for school photo events, ensuring optimal coverage and efficiency.

Account Management & Sales

  • Act as a key point of contact for school accounts, ensuring strong, lasting relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts while securing new clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, close agreements, and provide ongoing support to schools.
  • Work closely with photography and operations teams to deliver a seamless experience for clients.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and customer retention goals.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving performance.
  • Strong relationship-building and sales skills with the ability to close deals.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of photography equipment and processes is a plus.
  • Ability to travel with occasional overnight stays.

Requirements

  • 18+ years of age.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License with reliable, insured transportation.
  • Ability to lift and operate photography equipment (up to 40 lbs).
  • Strong customer service and leadership experience.
